Silicone modified epoxy ester with corrosion inhibitive pigmentatio. Heat and chemical resistant coating for chemical and industrial plant. Also as primer for heat-resistant aluminium coating. Resists dry heat temperatures up to 400°C.

Appearance Of Dried Film: Low sheen
Volume Solids: 40% (may vary with colour)
Dry Film Thickness: Typical 40 microns / Range 30-50 microns
Theoretical Coverage: 10m² per litre at 40 microns
Drying Time At 20°C:
Touch Dry: 2 hours
Film Dry: 4 hours
Overcoat: Overnight
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.)
Packaging: 5 litre containers
Shelf Life: 2 years in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage: Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C.
Surface Preparation: Abrasive blast to ISO 8501-1 SA2.5 is the preferred method.
Clean mild steel, free of millscale and rust, should be thoroughly degreased with Dacrylate Thinner R5.
Application: May be applied by brush or conventional spray. Up to 10% Dacrylate Thinner R5 may be added to achieve optimum spray characteristics.
Apply to a wet film thickness of 100 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 40 microns.
Clean-up: Dacrylate Thinner R5
