Aqueous emulsion

As an adhesion promoter/primer for galvanised steel, zinc, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, bronze, etc.

Colours available: Green Translucent (Clear - Ref.: 150-474)
Recommended Dry Film Thickness: 25 microns
Theoretical Coverage: 16m² per litre at 25 microns
Drying Time At 20°C: Touch Dry: 15 minutes
Film Dry: 20 minutes
Overcoat: 1-2 hours
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.)
Note: Drying times will vary depending on ambient conditions
Application Rate: Apply at approximately 65 microns wet film thickness
Shelf Life: 12 months or longer in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
VOC Level: Less than 0.1 grm/litre
Storage: Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C. Protect from frost.
Surface Preparation: Degrease with suitable solvent or detergent water, to leave a clean, dry substrate.
Application Conditions: Relative Humidity less than 80%
Temperature above 5°C
Application: Apply by brush or spray to an approximate wet film thickness of 65 microns (up to 5% water may be added to aid application if required).
Overcoating: After 1-2 hours, surfaces treated with Adhesion Promoter can be overcoated with all types of paints, eg., epoxies, polyurethanes, vinyls, emulsions, alkyds, stoving enamels and powder coatings.
NB.: Galvanised or zinc substrates cannot be overcoated with alkyd-based products.
