Modified alkyd pigmented with titanium dioxide and inert extenders, free from any metallic pigments, used as an one-coat primer/finish for underground machinery.

Not suitable for application underground.

Theoretical Coverage: 5m² per litre at 75 microns
Drying Time At 20°C:
Touch Dry: 15 minutes
Film Dry: 30 minutes
Overcoat: N/A
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.)
Packaging: 5 and 20 litre containers
Shelf Life: 2 years or longer in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage: Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C.
Surface Preparation: New steel: Abrade and/or wire brush to remove any loose rust, millscale, and similar. Degrease with Dacrylate Thinner R5.
Previously painted machinery: Abrade and/or wire brush to remove any loose or poorly adherent paint. 'Feather' all edges. Degrease with Dacrylate Thinner R5.
Application: Apply by conventional or airless spray.
Airless spray: Tip size 13-15 Thou (33-38mm). Minimum pressure at tip 2000psi (135 bar).
A wet film thickness of 200 microns is required to achieve a dry film thickness of 75 microns.
Clean-up: Dacrylate Thinner R5.
