A solvent-based acrylic with microporous properties coating for use with Dacrylate Acrylic Masonry Finish, also used as a sealer for plastic-cladded steel. Microporous allowing permeation of water-vapour.

Appearance of Dried Film: Low sheen
Volume Solids: 40%
Dry Film Thickness: Typical 40 microns
Theoretical Coverage: 10m² per litre at 40 microns
Drying Time At 20°C: Touch Dry: 1 hour
Film Dry: 2 hours
Overcoat: 2 hours
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.)
Packaging: 5 litre containers
Shelf Life: 12 months in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage: Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C.
Surface Preparation: Normally applied over masonry or rendering, sealed with Dacrylate Acrylic Sealer Ref.: 59-10.
When used over existing paint film, ensure old paint is clean with good adhesion to substrate.
Sealer for plastic cladded steel: Dacrylate Acrylic Masonry Undercoat is an ideal sealer coat for cladded steel prior to application of a conventional paint system. Because of the wide variety of plastics used, we strongly advise a trial area to be coated with the Dacrylate Acrylic Masonry Undercoat to check that the adhesion, etc., is satisfactory.
Application: Apply by brush to a wet film thickness of approximately 100 microns to achieve a dry film thickness of 40 microns.
