A microporous, flexible pure acrylic coating typically used as a high build anti-carbonation coating for masonry and concrete surfaces. Extremely flexible and elastomeric to withstand natural structural movement. With 'crack-bridging' properties up to 0.5mm. Anti-carbonation and moisture vapour permeability properties certified by Taywood Laboratories. Outstanding durability.

Volume Solids: 53% (may vary with colour)
Dry Film Thickness: Typical 100 microns / Range 100-200 microns
Theoretical Coverage: 5.3m² per litre at 100 microns
Drying Time At 20°C: Touch Dry: 4 hours
Film Dry: 8 hours
Overcoat: 8 hours
(will vary with temperature, air movements, etc.)
Packaging: 5 litre or 20 litre containers
Shelf Life: 2 years or longer in unopened containers when stored under cover in good storage conditions.
Storage: Under cover with temperature range of 5°C to 32°C. Protect from frost.
Surface Preparation: New concrete/rendering sould be completely dry. Thoroughly brush surface to remove all dirt, dust and friable material.
Rake out any large cracks, etc. Fill all crevies, holes and large cracks with cementitious-based filler (small cracks will be 'bridged' by the Dac Flex).
Apply Clear Masonry Sealer Ref.: 150-50 (or Masonry Sealer with Tracer Ref.: 150-429) to all untreated or porous substrates.
Application Conditions: Do not apply at temperatures below 5°C
Do not apply at relative humidities above 80%
Note: Drying times will be severely retarded at low ambient temperatures and high humidity levels.
Application: Normally applied by airless spray. Approximate tip size 18-21 thou. Tip pressure not less than 3000psi.
May also be applied by brush or roller. A wet film thickness of approximate 200 microns will produce a dry film thickness of 100 microns.
Clean-up: Thoroughly clean spray equipment, etc., with water immediately.
