Health and Safety: For more information request relevant Material Safety Datasheet.
Surface Preparation: Normally applied over a suitably prepared and primed substrate, please contact us for specific recommendations.
Application: Can be applied by conventional spray and brush or roller.
Apply to a wet film thickness of 80 microns to achieve a 75 micron dry film thickness.
Conventional Spray: Tip size 1.4mm / Pressure 50-60 psi
Based on DeVilbiss GTi spray gun.
Variations in equipment may require an adjustment in settings.
Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point.
Application should not be carried out where the humidity levels exceed 80% RH and the temperature is 5°C or below.
Note: Becaause of the high solids content of this product and the 75 microns recommended DFT, the application methods must be capable of applying a continuous accurate wet film thickness of 80 microns.
Practical coverage will be dependent on factors such as object to be painted, equipment used and operator techniques, etc., Allow for appropriate loss factors.
Graffiti Resistance: Full anti-graffiti properties will only be achieved after 7 days curing of the system.
Graffiti Removal: For the full removal of most forms of aerosol spray paint and marker pens used Dacrylate Maclean GP Remover Ref.: 150-198.
Thinner: Not normally required, the addition of up to 5% of Thinner R29 is permissible for conventional spray application if required.
Due to the high solids content of this product, low application temperatures have a marked effect on viscosity, it is recommended that the product is maintained at 15-20°C prior to, and during application.
Clean-up: Thinner R29
